9/19/2013

Today we spent a lot of time on the subject of the practicum, and how to interact with potential employers, or clients. We practiced calling for an interview, went over resumes, cover letters, and our online personal profiles. The rest of our time today was spent studying hard drives and creating contact lists via group editing sessions on Google drive. I'm not sure where to expand the subjects we talked about today, because the discussions were all about employee readiness, and we covered it better than most would be able to on their own.

In my own research on a topic not related to the practicum, I studied RAM imbalances (how uneven RAM chips can effect a CPU.)

Apparently, there is no real negative downside aside from potentially putting too much stress on the motherboard with a wanton amount of RAM. It is however suggested to put the biggest RAM chip in the primary slot, and organizing them in order of power.

  1. If your computer is not turning on, then theres probably a problem with the power, check the outlet, EC320 cable, and the PSU
